We all know that the best way to learn is to do your own thing.

The “Children Artists” project proposes to the child not only to become an artist, a theater director and an actor, but also to show the result of their work at a real museum!

At our first show, kids built their own Puppet Theaters and produced small shows. Photographers and videographers documented their performances.

The museum exhibit displayed this documentation of the children's work. Artists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, New York and Berlin participated in the show.

This exibition is an open source project. To participate, you simply download the file containing the stage, the example of the puppets, and the instructions. (The instructions are really just advice—you can do what you like.) Email your photographs to nika@x-31.com or post them to Flickr with the tag PuppetTheater2009.
